My love of Bonsai started in the later years of the last century when I discovered a Bonsai studio outside of Boston, Mass. After taking many classes and killing more than a few trees, I found Bonsai to be a place to explore creativity, to enjoy nature, and to find where art, nature and patience try to find balance.

As I developed my style within the hobby, I realized the pots and the settings were part of the story and added to my expression. I honor and respect the ancient art and traditions, but found inspiration in other, less traditional places, some dark, some quirky. My inspiration is a little Tim Burton, Dr. Seuss with a nod to Edgar Alan Poe and my curiosity of the macabre.

Creating my own pots, accessories and other creations was the next logical step. Now I have an abundance of both trees and pottery, and want to share these with you.
